    Thumbs up

Man, why didn't I try them sooner I had always kind of steered clear of playing as the Turks because I didn't like their starting position. I never really paid any attention to them because I was typically playing as the English or Danes starting in Early and by the time I got around to conquering that part of the world the Turks had already been swallowed by the Byz or Egyptians. But a few days ago I decided, what the hell, and gave them a try.

They have the coolest units in the game Every time I construct a new building it's like Christmas time, with some new and exciting unit available for me to produce. I especially like the fact that they have several archer units that are also very capable melee fighters (or should I say, several infantry units that are also equipped with bows), so that you don't end up with units that are useless once they run out of ammo.

    Here's to the Turks
"What, have Canadians run out of guns to steal from other Canadians and now need to piss all over our glee?"

    I know what mean.

I am producing Hashashin with Gold Armor. I am looking at creating a raiding party of 8 Hashashin(24) and 8 Grenade throwers(24)(whatever they are called). Just to see them in action.

I know that they are one of the best if not the best factions, but they are very HA and archer heacy and I don't like using HA and archers too much. But I recently learned as the Byz. how to use HA so I might give them a try sometime soon. And from the receiving end I know how awesome JHI are. I really want to use those babies.

Otto - They call them fingers, but I've never seen them fing...Oh there they go

The Turks are, IMHO, the most diverse faction in the game. That breeds replayability.

Some of the factions are fun at first, but become tedious and repetitive because of a smaller range of different units. Byzantium springs to mind here. To a similar extent, so too do Catholic nations. It's the same fuedal/chivalric sergeant, feudal/chivalric MAA, fedual/chivalric knight build scheme for almost every one of them.

turks are alos my newest fav faction in sp.
i dont like to try them on early since they have crap units :p and whenever i go early i usually conquer the map before horde arrives.

try them on high :) its soo much better, since you only have like 10 years to prepare before horde arrives, i had a measly 4 armenian heavy cav and 3 saracens on georgia when the horde arrived :( i completely forgot about them since i was busy building up an army to conquer egypt. damn horde :)

Taking on seven years that the holy ghost had left alone
test my arms, kick like crazy, Ive been trying way too long.
only if he could push his way off and fight you
Im sorry, Im sorry, Im not sure
Getting this off my chest, the story ends.
